The Lord my hope is here...

I watch the sun set on another day. My bones are weary, my eyes are tired, but within me You live on. The sweet music brings my heart to life. Faint tears of hope and joy revive my sleepy eyes. Once again You are my strength. Once again You lift me up. 

Storms winding tightly through my racing mind, my pulse keeps skipping beats, I'm out of breath and yet my body is still. You stir the winds within me. I am quiet, peaceful, still yet moved. How can I understand...the magnitude of Your love around me, within me. The burning of Your strange fire. It's nothing that I've seen, but I can feel. I feel You here, O Lord.

The sun sets on another day. Shadows stretch across the grass and I know You're near. I feel You here, O Lord. My hope is in you, my strength is in you, my heart is in you and I will live on.

I give the work of my hands to You, Lord. Teach me in your ways. Take my heart and show me the glorious plans of Your heart. I live for You alone.
