Beautiful

I just want to taste beauty. Is it sweet? Bittersweet? My heart longs to create beautiful things, beautiful sounds...things that are wonderful to look at. This is the artist within me. They say that most people are left-brained, logical, thinkers, speakers, mathematical...the artist within me is right-brained, abstract, musical, beautiful. The artist within me thinks beyond the right-brain, however...seeing the whole, creating what is aesthetic, and pleasing to the senses. In a world that is primarily left-brained, my right-brain feels stifled insignificant and unable to flourish in its desire to create a beautiful world. Yet knowing this, somehow the right-brain begins to grow, defeating the odds, taking the fragmented pieces of the left-brains thoughts and building, painting, composing, sounding out the beauty of the whole brain working together. Left-brain and right-brain, a team. Let beauty reign, let it be logical yet abstract. Thinking, speaking, and singing expressions of the heart...beautiful.
